-WAGGGS had decided to no longer accept boys as members of their organisation. So associations who want to accept boy as members, can no longer do this when the association wants to stay part of WAGGGS.
-The GSB delegation reacted to this : we want to bring the WAGGGS message, but our federation see boys and girls equally in the game of scouting!
-We understand that WAGGGS fight for women and girls rights, but also towards the boys we want to send out the message that they have to act as worthy scouts and not affend the womens/girls rights.  We understand that in certain countries the work for women/girls rights is very important and that they want women/girls to be able to fully expend their capabilities, but in our country there is no specific need for this and we want them to understand this.
-The president, Mary Mc Phail wouldn’t listen to our opinion! She does not want to work together in finding a solution, we got a “no” straight in the face. There was no occassion to discuss this, not one possibility.
-Many countries are aware of the situation of our country, althought their own country is an only Girl Guides association.
-We decided to send in some amendments, want to be seen and especially heard about co-education. We are fully convinced that that is the correct direction in which we have to work more and more.
-Martin : You must realise that when speaking to them as SAGNO, while having no boys member of their organisation, this gives them the occasion to immediatly close the door for possible conversation.
-We have to find out : why do they want to go back in time – the radical backturn towards a closed organisation in which no boys are aloud?

-Chip : for her WAGGGS with its mission is no longer the organisation in which we recognise us for our scouts and guides. We clearly want to bring them this message. She has the feeling that they try to keep all possible changes outside. They just want to be the Worlds biggest organisation for Women – is not the same as the organisation we need for us to be active in guiding.
-Martin : if they choose from now on to be no longer an open organisation to boys and exceptially to boys – then WAGGGS and WOSM no longer have the same mission. For us in Belgium this makes no sense.
-Proposal : talk to the committee members individually and ask them “what would you do in our situation? Let them explain what the problem is – our boys are not in our way to be able to play the game of guiding and scouting. Now they actually admit that they made a mistake in the past, but they can not explain what the mistake is, why can’t boys be part of the organisation?
-This way we can easily find out if the decision is an only Mary Mc Phail-decision or from the whole Committee
